Mckenzie Liautaud Jewelry for Pyer Moss FW 2014 Fashion Week

 Kerby Jean Raymond designer of the Pyer Moss Collection invited Mckenzie to create a collection for his Fall 2014 Menswear collection shown at NYC's  MILKMADE.  Kerby drew inspiration from 19th century Samurais known as the Shizoku. Using black lava and black onyx ,Liautaud focused on the weapons used by Samurais and streamlined the forms into simple lines that are simultaneously very wearable, urban and human accent architecture.

Preview of Liautauds FW 2014 collection titled  Cosmic Black Tie  inspired by Cristina De Middels Afronaut exhibition. Liautaud seamlessly meshes  semi-precious stones, diamonds, glass spikes ,silk , acrylic and African tribal beads into a futuristic ,architectural fusion of bracelets and necklaces.
